:iagree: If I had 6k to drop, I'd definitely go with the GTM supercharger.

To thakswet, are you planning on staying NA or do you want to go F.I.? That would help narrow things down a bit.

thakswet 06-25-2011 05:27 PM

I do not want to void my warranty.

HaHa, you may as well keep that cash in the bank then :icon18:

HFC's best power gain for the money.

efuseakay 06-26-2011 01:09 PM

First bolt on mod regardless of what it is will give you the most gains. Since you have an exhaust already, get the Stillen Gen 3 intakes. Proven gains on the dyno. Then some HFC or resonated test pipes. Then start with suspension... Sway bars/coilovers...

Keep it stock.

Cmike2780 06-26-2011 01:39 PM

Get the rear fog light and GT-R starter button.

thakswet 06-27-2011 06:18 PM

Alright, I guess here is what I will turn out with:

Bought a 2011 307z Touring Sport Coupe with Nav, NISMO cat back, NISMO Suspension, LED Running Lights.

I bought the K&N drop ins. Bought the the rear fog light with switch harness and waiting for it. bought the GT R starter switch. Getting the emblems changed out to get rid of the 'burger.

Carbon Fiber license plate for my vanity plate....

anything else legal?

I'd like to know what I should do next to get more HP; from most economical to the more outragous.

Budget is 2,000 to 6,000.

thanks in advance.

Wait, are you kidding me LOL.

Hey I'm not going to flame you (much) LOL, but you start a thread asking for our wealth of knowledge on the best mods for a budget of $2000 to $6000.

Asking which mods will... "get more HP; from most economical to the more outragous"

Well, all I can say is you certainly picked the most economical mods, cause your fog light, GTR button, and emblems, ain't gonna be burning extra gas any time soon LMAO...

You might be lacking a bit from HP gains there though, and I'm guessing you still have around $5950 left in ya budget.

I know a great decal website if you want to get some "go-faster-flames" next ;)

Seriously dude, put that 6000 back in the bank, sell that Z, and go get a Honda Civic :driving:

thakswet 06-27-2011 07:01 PM

I'll turn the other cheek on that flame and say I just do not want to void my warranty. Otherwise I mis-spoken on my original post and should have mentioned that important fact. If you have a legal warranty-non-voiding mod I can make....I'll do it.
I'd love to go crazy on this....but the master plan is to trade this in for the 2015.

he he he Wealth of Knowledge.

TROOPER 06-27-2011 07:24 PM

I'm PMS'ing, don't mind me LOL, must be my annual "rag week". :eekdance:

Honestly I'm a nice guy, ask anyone.

(well except that bunch of idiots from Maryland, coz they all think I'm an a$$hole)....
(just kidding guys, or should I say girls (cough Bert, Shado, cough)... You know you all want my babies)

Anyway, I'd say you're pretty safe on the warranty with most of the mods suggested (minus the super charger or turbos LOL)

Just have fun with it :driving:

Oh yeah.... and GO STEELERS... I know, I told you they hate me in Maryland ;)

:icon18:As for you sir, I agree with Trooper. Don't get into the modding business if your going to get rid of her now if so you might as well just do it while you still hold some good value. You bought her keep her. Treat her right and she will give you everything you want. I bought mine brand new Dec. 2009. She only has 15k miles on her now and ran a freak dyno being stock 285 whp. The mods are coming. Speed cost money if you don't have it go ;)get a Honda.

Super fixed broski

OP nothing bad intended, think for yourself about what you'll like done with your car first rather than asking people to decide for you - interior mods? exterior mods? power mods? That would be a great place to start. K&N filters won't void your warranty.

MnTBlitz 06-27-2011 07:48 PM

:icon18: nice fix
