Hmm oil change ASAP or wait for filter?
So I have approached my oil change mileage ( 60 miles over it actually) and can go to the local stealership for the change anytime this week. Here is my question: I was going to order the K&N Performance oil filter and have them install it with the change. That being said, if I order today it won't be here for another couple of days. So is it bad to be driving it a hundred or so miles past the due mileage, or is it worth waiting for the oil filter before taking it to get changed?
Also, I understand I can change it myself. However, I have never changed my own oil in past cars and am not sure the Z is a good one to start with. They were all free so I never bothered. |
