Ya they just told me that, I don't want it b/c of the price but I guess I don't have a choice.

Gotta open this thread back up. Anybody with upgraded clutch and flywheel combos chime in and don't forget to talk about the csc.

I have to tell you that I will be following this thread. The stock clutch is probably the worst clutch I have had in any sports car. It will take zero abuse without glazing over and takes forever to recover. The stock clutch in my TT was much better. The RPS Street/Sport I have in there now holds 16 psi without as much as a whimper.

When I am ready, I will probably call Seb and see what they think about this clutch...provided I am not doing the clutch with a TT install

I am putting in my order right now with CPZ for everything they have on their thread. Did you get the upgraded csc? I would assume you did.

V8 Killer, why are you going with that setup? Just because it's all offered there on a thread? If you want help getting a better customized setup that works well together, let me know, I'd be happy to help.

chuck, i personally have a fidanza flywheel and a clutchmasters clutch all with stock csc. As of right now no issue with the csc but everybody know thats just a matter of time before the metal one goes in. I dont hear to much about people running clutchmasters clutch in these cars but i have used them in the past with zero issues. Like RCZ i am switching to competition clutch steel f/w for a little less input shaft rattle also at the same time im replacing the csc for good measure.

I can suggest my clutch as we all know i am very hard on it with zero issues to date. I do have one forsale at my shop , its brand new in the box also i am dealer for the metal csc so i can help you there alwell. Its a high clamp load plate with a street disc, as this is very good for aggressive street drive and drag racing.

I have installed a few southbend clutchs for customers, quality seems to be very good but i dont like there inability to stand behind there product fully.

Personally the stock clutch in my car took quite a beating before failing, yes the pedal effort is too light but overall a good clutch nontheless.

sometimes its kinda boring here as most just follow the herd when making performance purchases.

well i can tell you this nissan may have the same part numbers for all clutchs from 09 - 11 . but they are different the pedal effort is much harder in the 09 models from 10 and later it is very soft. This is why i tell you that my factory clutch was good.

Hey RCZ,

What I meant was I was going for the deal that was offered on the thread. Thanks though glad to know I got a helping hand if I need it.

This is the set up that I have on my '90 TwinTurbo. I am still running the stock csc. I think the next stage up from street/sport suggested the replacement csc. Funny you should mention that though. I drove it yesterday and something didn't feel right... a little soft like there was a bubble in the line. Time to put her on the ramps and take a look. I may be replacing it now.
