Default 2011 Clutch question

I have only had the car for about 3 weeks 500 miles on it. I have had many other manual cars but this one seems to be the toughest to be smooth with. My clutch engages almost at the top and Im not sure if I hear some noise when I get there. Whats your take on it.

Try this
Clutch pedal too soft/no feel? Remove the helper spring!

Being new it's going to be more sensitive at first. But yea, engagement is more at the top.

I bought my Z with 4k miles on it, so I can't speak to the break in experience with the clutch. But I hated the clutch until I put an aftermarket catback on the car, along with K&N drop-ins. The improvement in breathing made a huge difference in how responsive the engine and clutch became.

I sometimes get an inconsistent response from the pedal, and may look into the helper spring mod. But it is much better with the exhaust and intake mods. Just my 4 cents (more than 2 cents because exhausts and drop-in filters are expensive!)

A stainless steel clutch line will solve these issues, my friend. Seriously, the difference is amazing.
