My car overheated in hot weather and on-track with Nissan Ester Oil and with Redline prior to installing my oil cooler. There is no way in hell that NEO is so vastly more lubricating that the engine internal temps are 50F cooler when using it.

96 degrees in dc area for the past 3 days. I have been driving around 25 miles total each day in traffic and open roads.
My temps never got above 200. My car so far has had two oil changes with Nissan Ester Oil. In January when i bought it new, the oil temp under same driving conditions was around 180. So warmer weather will likely increase the oil temp, but I haven't seen it go over 200 yet.. I don't race or take it on the track so not worried about over-heating or oil cooler.

OP- Please be happy that your temps are staying at or slightly above 200. I live in Dallas and my oil temp is never below 220 by the time I arrive at work. Its usually at 225.
I don't drive hard in the morning and there is very rarely stop and go traffic on my route. ~4500 miles, Nissan Ester

Yeah IMHO unless you drive like a grandma all the time, you need an oil cooler on this car in TX (and a quality synthetic). I highly recommend one with a thermostatic sandwich plate though. If you're not even hitting 220+ don't worry, but I think you'll find if you really push the car (especially any kind of track scenario) in the summer, 250+ is easy to find, and limp mode isn't far away at that point.

Yes. TX is awesome in the summer. I see 220-230 if I get accel happy. Lately, it has been 90+ degrees F and the Fairlady is not happy, lol..........
Mobil 1 Synth is your friend BTW. She will like it. Miine gets Mobile 1 normally, but the dealer used Valvoline for some reason this time. So yeah, she is kinda tempermental at the moment..........

By the way, this morning (and yesterday) it was 71* no humidity, oil temp stayed at 195*. On the way home it was 91* and hazy, I rolled the windows down, raced everyone, I drifted corners and keep a sharp eye on my radar detector, she stayed just below 220*. I just checked the oil level, its still at the "H" so, I guess I shouldn't worry and chill. Respects~

I ran the Ester for the first 10k on my car and switched to Pennzoil Ultra Syn for the last 10k. I saw no diff's in performance or oil temps personally. In 80+ degree weather, mine usually hovers around 210-220 in city traffic.

I've hit 240-250 on Dealers oil changes doing a few miles of very spirited driving. Not very happy about that since my Old 350Z never had that problem.

Be careful with how close you run to that H-mark. L<->H on the dipstick is a range. H is not the target. The ideal is somewhere in the middle (I usually shoot for about 2/3 up between L and H), and it's the holes rather than the letters that indicate the range marks. Check while parked on a perfectly level surface with the engine off for at least 10 minutes. If you end up overfilled, your oil will foam and not lubricate/cool as well.
