VLSD marking
Hey everyone,
Im looking to purchase the 3.69 VLSD pumpkin. I would like to know what the markings are that denote the VLSD. These pictures are from a diff of a G37 6MT. I understand that the diffs between all Z's and G's are pretty much interchangeable. I will be putting this on a 2006 6MT Z. Here are the pics of the diff I want to get. It has K5 written all over it, and it has a 4 bolt flange. The seller says that it came from a G37 manual. So, it has to have the 3.69 Fd and the VLSD?? Someone please confirm! Sorry for being paranoid, I was duped by a shop who installed an open diff on my car and told me it was a locking type.:mad::mad: Thanks for the help guys http://i545.photobucket.com/albums/h...z/IMG_2404.jpg http://i545.photobucket.com/albums/h...z/IMG_2403.jpg http://i545.photobucket.com/albums/h...z/IMG_2402.jpg http://i545.photobucket.com/albums/h...z/IMG_2401.jpg Thanks again! |
Honestly I would ask on a G37 forum. I am not so sure that all manual G37's came with VLSD... most likely only the sport package models or something like that.. if they have that. I am not too familiar with G37's. I can tell you about Z's though! =)

All manual G37 have the sports package. Hence, all manual G37s will have VLSD. That should be a VLSD.
