6 Speed 370z?

There is an OS GIKEN OS 88 SIX SPEED SEQUENIAL GEAR BOX that says its a six speed... would the rev match work with this or would there be any problems?

SRM would not work with any other transmission, the sensors are built into the top of the stock transmission.

Are you really going to put a $16K transmission in the Z?

Also, the transmission you list is for the R32 GT-R. They have a different sequential transmission for the 350/370Z. Quaife has one too. Note they are racing transmissions, may not be particularly streetable.

I guess theoretically it could be made work provided that the transmission can report to the ECU what gear it is in (many of these sequential units have a gear indicator output that could be translated). The other issue is that the ECU is preprogrammed for specific gear ratios, if the ratios are different then the ECU will disable SRM after a short time. I don't think anyone has cracked how to reprogram the SRM gear ratios yet, although I'm sure it can be done with enough time and effort.
