SES light help...
Well yesterday my SES light came on on the way back from lunch.
Here's the possible problems, 1. Yesterday morning, I put gas in the car with the car running, possible gas cap alert ? But the light didn't come on until about 5 hrs later. I double checked the cap and retightened it, but the light didin't go off. 2. About 200 miles ago I installed HFC's. The HFC's do have an extended O2 bung. I checked and I don't have any exhaust leaks, and the wideband O2 plugs are tight. Would pulling the neg battery terminal turn off the light ? Should I go to autozone and get a code check ? If it is a O2 code, would the "steel wool" trick work? Are there any potential problems driving with the light on? Thanks guys..
