Clutch pedal too soft/no feel? Remove the helper spring!

honesty, this is not an easy job...first you need to make sure that you have someone press the clutch all they way in, then when you take out the bolt you have to make sure that you dont scuff it because then its hard to get it back in....there is another smaller spring inside that always keeps pressure so you have to fight it when you're trying to put the bolt back in, and if you don't have the holes light up just right then it will not go in, it does help to put some greese on the bolt before you get in it...if you know what im saying

Took me 5 minutes by myself to replace mine. Press the clutch to the floor with one hand and hold it down. Use a pair of needle nose to pull the snap ring. Slide out the pin.

maybe if you 4 foot tall with short arms....i'm 6'1 and i it hard to get both hands in there...

Holy crap, i just installed this spring not really knowing what to expect (for $20 shipped, you cant beat it) and wow, the car feels just like I would want it to. Such a pain to work under there though. I highly recommend this spring.

Spring makes a huge difference I would highly recommend it to any with the m6 transmission!

i've been driving on the new spring for past 5 days and i love it...anyone driving manual needs to do this mod...it makes driving stick on this car enjoyable, before it was more like a chore and i hated 1st and 2nd shifts...now its a breeze
