The spring supplier I found online charges about $10 per spring and min quantity is 10. Obviously we have the numbers. I just don't know the stock spring rate to then pick an appropriate new spring rate.

I'm calling Tuesday to try to get a sample.

Just a quick update guys, the stock spring compression rate is 334.245 lb/in, I had them send me out a spring of similar dimensions with a rate of 80.470 lb/in, so roughly 75% softer rate, once I try it out and confirm it's soft enough I will order a bunch and get pricing.

Do you know if it'll have the flat ends like the stock one?

these springs in bulk are actually pretty cheap almost half the price of the one spring I ordered, if I order 30 (which looks like we will need it) it's only $11.38 per spring, so $15 shipped should cover it.

Cool. I am going to be taking my trip here soon, so I will need to get with you before the end of next week. That way you have the doe and It can wait for me in the car until I get back.............

I ran out of patience today and removed the spring assembly just to see how it feels...all I have to say is WOW. Completely changes the feel of the car.

I would like to add however that I had a HELL of a time removing the bottom pin. The top one slid out easily and the assembly came out easily but the bottom piece stayed on. I had to stick the flathead against the pin head and hammer it out cause it just wouldn't budge.

Yeah it's night and day difference and theres really no harm in leaving the assembly out for the time being.

It's easy to find compression springs online in similar dimensions, the unknown was the spring rate which is why I sent mine out to have tested and what took so long. I'll know tuesday if this particular spring is going to work well and then I'll order the rest, if all works out these could start shipping out on the week of the 6th.
