Silly question (flywheel)

Will putting a lightweight flywheel in the 6 spd manual trans throw off the synchro-rev matching? Or will it just match the revs faster and still accurately? Just curious.

this has been discussed several times. nobody has put one it yet, but concensus is NO, it will not throw off the SRM

Same as a lightweight and/or underdrive pulley.. the rev match is computer controlled via sensors.. it's not going to overrev due to a faster revving engine.

(we have flywheels and pulleys.. if you're interested in adding those on Michael let me know.. LOL!)
