Nice numbers. But I have to ask. Why does the green graph go to 7600rpm? Did it have a reflash before the runs? I'm very curious as to what power this car will lay down on a dynojet now. Should be 310rwhp or more which would make it one of the most powerfull NA 370Z we've dynoed.

I wouldn't know how to explain what your asking? That would have to be for Sharif to answer. I also wouldnt mind seeing what it would put down on a dyno jet. I know I love how well it pulls though. Especially this morning being cooler than it has been all week.

Forged, do you typically see a gain of 20 hp on a Z with bolt ons or was this a freak tune?

When I see members post their gains after up rev, they usually report gains of less than 10hp. Just wondering,bc 20 hp gain for the money spent on a tune is awesome.

This really says something about the man (Sharif). I know he stated how well the 370Z adapts to mods and a tune. I'm not going to say it's typically, put he does know some tricks here and there that we'll never know. Then again maybe car loves these changes. Plus I do have a Forged decal on my quater window so that helps a little (inside joke).

Check out this link on Semtex car and tune on the same dyno. This will make you jealous.

UpRev ECU tune results for Semtex's Z

20hp from a tune on a Z just means their stock tune was really out of whack, I am sure FP knows what they are doing but there is no magic here, theres only so much you can get from AFR and a few degrees of timing.

10whp gain is on the low end for the 370Z, an 20whp is on the high end. As someone alluded to, the magnitude of the gains depends on many factors including the base state of the OEM tune. The 370z responds really well to bolt on NA mods and tuning, much more so than the 350Z.

John@Z1 lately our dynos have been reading closer and closer..go figure. We've had 370Z's in the 320whp+ confirmed DJ ranges before so I don't necessarily consider Chris's car a freak of nature.

Sorry I missed this question. As you may or may not know, our dyno calculates RPM via road speed rather than RPM pickup. Due to tire deflection, it's not a perfect match but pretty darn close. The rev limit was unchanged and I was the first person to put a license on this ECU so no...it was stock when it arrived.

Here's my dyno results from Z1 from a meet we had a month ago on a dyno jet. Same NA mods.
