Anyone know if this is the right OSGiken LSD for a 370Z with sportpackage 6mt? Is there even a diff between at vs mt LSDs?

R34 LSD AT only?

Did you have any issues with the ABLS (Active Brake Limited Slip) still on? i.e. does it interfere with the clutch LSD operation?

I don't think there is a setting to disable it via UpRev...
No, no issue at all. So your saying it stays on all the time? Was the speed sensor reinstalled or possible damaged on the diff? Either way it shouldn't effect drivability. It's all mechanical.

No, it doesn't stay on all the time.

I don't think the speed sensors are an issue, but I haven't pushed it hard enough yet for the VDC or ABS to kick in.

That's what I wanted to hear, that having an ABLS enabled ECU doesn't effect drive-ability of the CLSD

The roads are finally drying up a bit around here, so I will get a chance to really test it out soon.

Thanks SPOHN! This thread really helped me out

I have been told by a couple of people now that the OSG for the base 370 in 7AT configuration which uses part number NS113-HA requires no stub axles and that it is a direct replacement and drops right in. Is this true?

It seems like there is conflicting information now. I understand the fact that Nissan designed several stub axle variants throughout the model years and that makes it a bit more complicated. All I'm trying to do is make sure I order only the parts I need to make this a smooth and quick install and be done with it as this is my DD. Down time is not an option for me. So can someone please provide some consistent information? I tend to believe the ones that did the install, such as Forged. That is all fine. But is there someone from Giken that could chime in on this as well?

And not to go off on a complete rant but it seems that every topic on this forum has contradicting information on every subject covered and the oil cooler issue is the most frustrating by far. So in light of that, I would like to here from an expert or the manufacturers if they are reading and feel like replying. I just want the facts. That's all. I just don't want to hear from one that I don't need anything extra (except bearings of course) and then another says two right side stub axles. It makes my brain twitch and I turn into something that looks like the demon chick from the Evil Dead remake. Makes John very upset.

It is not true. It does need a one different axle hub for base model. Call Forged Percormance and the will get you the correct parts.

Would really like to know your thoughts on the difference,

A lot of people have installed the OS Giken lsd. I have one. Soon as my arm heals up. I'll install it.

I had one in my track car. Best upgrade I ever did... Make sure to change your final drive gears at the same time.

I did and love it. It is a little clucky when on sticky tires with sharp turns but that is normal for any clutch diff. I is the best upgrade you can do. You actually find out how bad the stock VLSD actually was.

Nice. I am more inclined towards the OSG now.

And I can't change FD gears because I am going TT, otherwise think I won't get traction then.
