My Z seems to like/enjoy running rich. My exhaust tips get dirty fairly quick and I am wondering if anyone else is seeing this or not. The dirt is not

Running Rich?
My Z seems to like/enjoy running rich. My exhaust tips get dirty fairly quick and I am wondering if anyone else is seeing this or not. The dirt is not slimy as burning oil would indicate; it is more sooty.
Thanks in advance and today is my 370's one year birthday.
