Problem was it really wasn't much fun to drive unless it was on the dragstrip. Even on the smoothed out street tune, it had no power below 5k, and then too much beyond there.
The guy that bought it from me found the same thing out, and he's swapping out the turbo for something much smaller. |

I'm like 1 second away from that stock, but a second is a long time at the drag strip. Full bolt ons, drag radial, 4.08 gears, pulleys, better torque converter, and a tune should put me there I think. I will probably end up doing all of those except the gears and drag radial. Hopefully that will get me mid to low 12's with good weather + track conditions.

DD Z + 70-80% highway commute = no gears mod for me. I plan on using it as my DD for as long as I have it. Also, I probably won't get the torque converter either. I have no interest in drag specific mods. I would rather get mods that would allow me to get on a road track (oil cooler, brakes, etc.)
