I bought an oil cooler last year, because after READING the dozens of threads about this topic, I realized that Nissan wasn't going to do jack about it. So i bought a cooler and haven't had to worry about oil temps since.
Also, oil coolers don't cost $780, they can be had for half that and can be purchased today.. They just don't say "NISSAN" on them.. most say Setrab. Good luck on your quest for a free oil cooler. Post up pics when you get it.
