Default decreased power loss of power

i had the scariest scenario just happen to me like 20 mins ago..... i was driving the z regularly just around 45mph when all of a sudden all the power cut off the car went to a immediate deceleration and i found myself only going like 10mph i was freaking the **** out not to mention a car almost slammed into me from the rear because this was happening?!? i press on the gas and its bogging as in its not moving..... lucky thing this happened right in front of nissan so i made a u turn and pulled in.... has this happened to anyone...??!?! i didnt do anything to the car electronic wise.... and all i did was remove the front bumper to install my front amuse bumper?!?

I guess the Amuse creates to much downforce.

That is odd. Would you say it went into limp mode? Good thing you where right there at Nissan.

What did Nissan find out?

That happened a few times on my accord. Faulty ignition switch.

Damn bro keep us posted, i'm sure it'll be something small. When i got my '00 dakota new i had it for 3 days and it leaked trans fluid all over the driveway. The guys at work ragged the S out of me FOREVER it was a bent relief tube or something like that. Then about a year or so and 4k miles later i was coming home from work and it just died when i was about half way through the tunnel. A cop was a few cars back so he was AZZ, i mean nice enough to use the metal ram crap on the front of his car to push me the hell out the way. Cause i ws blocking a two lane two way tunnel at five 0'clock, doing 500 bucks worth of damage to my xeon bodykit which i ended up having to pay for. It ended up being a fifty dollar sensor, never had any other problems with the truck i still have it today.

I think your ECU has a glitch it needs a reflash something made the VDC panic and lock all wheels.

hey, this scenario have happened to me before... but i was speeding up a ramp, and sucked in a plastic bag and it was stuck in the intake. it caused my car to do exactly what u said, power cut off, and decreased to around 10-15MPH (even if i press the gas nothing happened)... check ur intakes, maybe something came loos.

Simota1, this is clearly related to your gas gauge overlay!

Just trying to cheer you up. That sounds like a pretty scary thing to happen. I hope they find the problem. Interested in what they find.
