Default taking battery out

I searched real quick for a thread on this but couldnt find anything. I need to get my battery out of the Z but after taking a quick look it appears that its not an easy task. Has anyone taken their battery out that could shed some light on this? It appears that it doesnt just pull right out, you need to unclip the harness, but after T do that do I have to remove anything else? I sound like such a noob but could use some advice, thanks

Yep its a little bit of a pain. Besides the cover that has to come off you need to also take off the plastic cover stuff all around it and also the cowl under the window. These peices are all seperate so you dont have to take everything off. Just take a look and you will see what you need to take off, its all clips. Then once you can get to the battery have fun pulling it out

yah, dont under estimate the weight of the battery and drop it or something.... wear gloves and eye protection.

I wonder how much weight can be saved by swapping in an optima yellow top deep cycle battery.
