i can confirm that whenever i have the steering locked this happens to me when the tires are cold, which is mostly parking lots ever since new.
|
This isn't tyres, it's the LSD in cold weather (cold oil being more viscous) locking up temporarily until it warms up through driving. Cold tyres don't make the entire car shake like your describing and I just experienced the same issue with my 370z in the recent cold weather we're seeing.

In the cold weather when turning my steering wheel the car makes a vibration. Def the cold weather with sport tires. I dunno if its the same issue you describe though. It def isnt violent shaking thru out the car.

I have this happen also, when making a low speed sharp turn in the cold (Pulling out of my spot every morning). I figured it was a combination of the tires and the diff fluid being cold that is making the car act as if it had a locked differential. Like a "slip-stick" effect... I haven't really worried about it at all. Doesn't feel like anything is wrong. No worries mate!
