too lazy to read the full article, but it says condenser on the side.
edit: sorry should've read the full sentence. it's a compact radiator (a SUBradiator, apparently), i guess to assist the stock condenser? first sentence (rough translation) - while there are no problems on the streets, during circuit driving the z34's water temps went high enough to trip a temperature failsafe mechanism. then more stuff complaining about the stock radiator / condenser, but don't feel like translating anymore Last edited by saber; 01-20-2011 at 07:31 PM. |

Phelan, get to translating!!
Hmm... 1. Didn't know the water temps were the problem, would rather have it cooling oil... 2. If you mount it there, without something like the Stillen front end, or taking out and making a makeshift fang vent... where's it getting air from??

if ya'all worried about water temps.
CSF 370Z Radiators NOW AVAILABLE @ Z1 Motorsports! I've always personally liked doing the small (not necessarily cheaper) mods that do things like help keep engine temps steady, changing all oils to better quality ones, fluids etc. To me its like keeping better maintenance of your car. Which is always a good thing. |

Umm...seriously a secondary radiator? Wtf are they thinking??
Just for the record the overheating problem is caused in that car by RESTRICTED AIR TRAVEL THROUGH THE RADIATOR ok heres the deal i just installed an AAM oilpan spacer + 48row Oil cooler (yes i sad 48 ROW for $278 beat that price) and what ive noticed is that when you put back the undercover theirs no air travel after it leaves the radiator its like everything is blocked off around the engine I bet if you just buy a regular carbon fiber hood w/ some large fins in it for air travel youll be ok or remove the undercover just dont drive in wet weather or reach really high speed. In conclusion you dont have to buy expensive $h$t just use youre brain its so freaking obvious.
