That's what is. These things happen. No way to find the exact reason without a ses light. Something was off. I've had this happen twice before on my 350 in three years. I wouldn't worry about. I can see why you would. I got extremely parranoid after the first time. I wasn't trying to be smart. This is how it was explained to me by highly respected tuner. I guess I should of explain my same issue. The first time I was NA and the second I was FI. So I don't think my NA mods or FI mods played a role. So be it fuel delivery, timing, or spark plugs didn't fire. Not sure.

That's possible. How could you prove it? Not that it matters. But that could easily be one of the issues. I really wouldn't worry until another incident. IMO I don't think there's a raise for concern yet. I know how hard it would be to get out of your mind though. Cars are like kids.

it is next to impossible to get vapor lock in a EFI car, that said the only time this ever happened to me was when i was holding the gas pedal down trying to start it (which it doesn't let you do). If it's repeatable chances are it isn't a gremlin, but a full blown wire short, or some electrical component, or sensor may have failed. Good luck tho hope you or the dealer figure it out if it's an 07 you probably still have your powertrain just hope it's related, and if they deny you threaten to, then do call nissan customer service the number is in the owner's manual.
