I think I've found my next mod. Only because it makes oil changes a lot less of a hassle lol.

You can just open a flap on the factory undertray to change the oil. It's like 4 bolts I believe.

Theres no flap if you take 4 bolts off the oil will just run all over the undertray.

I do not have the answers to all of the questions because we haven't tried these on a lot of different cars yet.
Howere, we are going to get a group buy going if anyone is interested in testing it out at a good deal.
Stay tuned.

:iagree:I needed to tie off the flap so it didn't interfere with the oil filter change or the draining of the oil. No need to drop the entire undertray.

Um no. I've done this several times already. Just unbolt the flap and swing it out of the way. I use a spare jack stand to pin it up so that it's not in the way.

Truth. If you're buying this for the oil change access you may want to slide under your car sometime.

But it only looks cool until you install it - then you can't see it! Lightweight? So is the plastic oem undertray. It's your money so do as you as please. Imo, no benefit whatsoever.

Ive dont many oil changes myself on my car, In fact all the mods I have listed I installed myself, I do have access to a lift where I work, I know what you guys are talking about take 4 bolts off and bend the under tray back. I didnt want to bend the under tray too much so I just havent tried it.

There is good news and bad news about that. The hotchkis does make contact with the aluminum undershroud, but it only does it so many times, after which it has pretty much beaten it into the required shape to avoid rub!
