Z1 Motorsports 34-row oil cooler kit (any experiences?)
Just like the title says, anybody ordered these? have you tracked your car to see the temps? did the temps stay down? I hope I can get a better response from people in SoCal who used this 34-row oil cooler kit from z1 and tracked it in Willow Springs? also during summer times? sorry if this is confusing. Trying to see the comparo between this and AE performance oil cooler kit.

I'll be going to Sebring on Saturday for an HPDE, so I'll report back. I don't expect to see any oil temperature issues, especially since it is my first HPDE.

rode with Dai^^ during the mountain cruise about a month ago or so, we were laughing at all the other Z's that didn't have the oil cooler and even though it was cool outside, they were getting 210+ oil temps during the more "spirited" sections while it seemed to be all Dai could do just to get the temp up to 200. it really works well

Back from my HPDE at Sebring. Air temperature never got to above 70, so it was a pretty cool day. The first few sessions I kept the car in automatic (but was still driving fairly aggressive) and the Oil temp's never went above 200 or so. In my other sessions I switched to manual, and with a lot of aggressive downshifting I still didn't see above 220.

I'm considering the 25 row cooler. Will this kit fit the stock engine filter?

Oh the kit does fit the original engine oil filter, as I found out on the website.

Correct. You can use either the OEM sized filter or the larger G37 Sedan oil filter which is slightly taller (more capacity).
This feature was something that was critical to us in the designing of the kit as most end users do not want to have try to remember or keep up with an odd ball (non-OE) oil filter number. The sandwich plate adapter (both thermostatic and non-thermostatic) are the same for all variations of Z1 Oil Cooler Kit. The only real major difference in each version is the actual core size and the type of sandwich plate adapter. These options are given for a few reasons, two primarily being:
