What is a fair estimate for installing an oil cooler?

I am considering adding an oil cooler. My plan is to have the dealer do this. How many hours should the dealer charge for installing one. I was thinking of the Nissan Motor Sports cooler (list price $795). I know the Sitllen coolers are cheaper and they are still on my list of possible coolers. The only reason the Nissan is on top is that it is designed for the Z.

We designed ours and built brackets specific for the 370Z too. :)

For reference, we charge 2 hours of labor for the installation.

I cannot be happier with my Stillen Race Oil Cooler (25 row core), I bought it and had it installed at SpecialtyZ by Seb for $700. This included:

-Oil cooler kit
-Labor
-Redline 5w30
-Modifying the bracket so that the cooler could be mounted on the driver's side

I could not find a lower price anywhere and Seb did a great job but Stillen knows their kit front and back as well.

If you don't mind me asking, any particular reason on why you mounted it on the driver's rather then the passenger?

For a few reasons:

-To keep the power steering pump in the stock location and to avoid blocking airflow to it since it would be mounted behind the oil cooler.

-The lines Stillen supplies with the kit are way too long so they would have to be coiled up in the bumper to take up the slack if it was mounted on the passenger side. The lines were the perfect length for a driver's side install.

The z1 motorsports oil cooler is cheaper and better than the nissan and designed for our car as well. And 2'hours should be about right. Also the z1 cooler goes on driver side so no need to move the p/s cooler.

Great input, thanks
