High RPMS sounds like its struggling

Anyone else feel this way? I feel the car has power more power then my 350Z. But up top were the high HPs should it feels like it struggling for air. Or is that the sound of the VVEL at work.

Dont know If Im just looking to much into it, especially it being a new car and my 350Z being broken in.

Thoughts?

It's normal. The engine sounds and feels a little bit harsh above 6-6,500 RPM.

I was wondering the same thing. I thought when they tested CAI's on the 370z the most power gained was from 7000 rpm and up. I know there was power gained on the entire RPM range but most gained was at high RPM. Correct me if I am wrong.

You're spot on.

The VQ37 has always been knocked for sounding harsh. Completely normal, though an exhaust will help.
