As I have had this happen three times lately, and twice was under full acceleration.

The first two times I was ussing the regular Nissan oil in the transmission, and the last time it happend (full accerlation) was using Redline MT-85. I'm pretty sure the clutch was depressed fully as that is how I drive and try to never short stroke the clutch when shifting. So please don't ask about that.

On another note, I think I'm going to talk to one of my dealers because when I drained the trans. oil I only got about 2 1/2 qts out and filled up a little over 3 qts with the redline. Upon inspection of the drained fluid I found a ton of small brass shavings in the fluid... and not feeling to good about that. The car just turned over 6k miles Saterday when I did the fluid change.

Positive side is that the Redline MT-85 oil makes shifting feel a lot smoother.
Thanks.

Yep. i had it several times i think there's something wrong with the tranny gear alignment. how it happens is that there 2 stages when you put it in the gear one is the alignment and then two is the gear, you can actually feel it when you shift when you put it in gear a little it stops you for a sec then goes in to gear. if you force it in too much with you're hand you'll grind, also if you're in stage one and it didn't fully engage in gear and you let go of the clutch you'll grind so those are no no's be careful.

the worst part about this is that most of the time the gears align normally, but when they don't align be ready not to f it up

I've had the grind about 3 times, but now that I really really really focus on depressing the clutch all the way down, I havent had a problem yet.
