How many run NO ETHANOL GAS?
I use pure gas....NO ETHANOL 93 OCTANE There is a big difference in power you will notice right away. Yes it costs more, but to me it is well worth the added "KICK IN THE ***" that it gives, no matter what your are driving. Anyone else on the forum use this?

There's nothing wrong with an ethanol mix if you add a little bit of timing advance to take advantage of it. Yes, it will get slightly worse economy, but you can indeed make a bit more power if you're tuned for even a 10% mixture.

not a single one near me...

None in Houston.
I would bet some of the tracks in Houston are ethanol free but cannot always get that. |

After working in two different gas stations 25 years ago that both had alcohol in the gas, I truly doubt that there is ANY pure gas to be had. If I'm not mistaken, there are government regulations saying that the gas has to contain alcohol. I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's the case. |
I've always used Chevron 94, ethanol free. Then I was lured in by the cheap prices at Costco, 91 w.10% ethanol. After two tanks I'm going back to Chevron.
Noticeable difference. |
