I've done Canyons runs with a 1/2 to 1/4 tank of gas, and have not experienced this issue.

This is what he means: Fuel starvation, who else?

This only happens when you're at the track and you have half tank or less. It doesn't happen during regular driving UNLESS you're treating public roads as your track . So, if you ask dealer to fix it, they will probably make similar faces . So your best bet is aftermarket (like Travis and other track junkies).

I belive he is talking about people at the track (or very very aggresive driving) with 1/4 tank and due to momentun, the car experienced 'fuel starvation.'

I believe I saw 2 or 3 threads about fuel starvation here.
