Flywheel Question
This was probably answered, and maybe I fail at the search feature, but I have read conflicting info about switching out the stock flywheel or not. So..
One: Should you switch out the stock flywheel with a lightweight aftermarket flywheel? Two: What companies offer flywheels for the 370? I noticed SZ and fidenza (sp), any others? Third: What do you do about the SZ flywheel/clutch combo problem with it messing up the CSC? Thanks |

Are there any long-term side effects of changing the flywheel? Or does this not affect the engine life at all?

I would say that the cons about lighter flywheel :
1) less momentum on the flywheel, harder to drive in stop and go traffic and simply getting the car to move from stop. 2) correct me if i'm wrong, but you may have to ride the clutch more/longer before it is fully engaged with a lighter flywheel ( that's my experience from driving a EVO9 w/ ACT flywheel) |

2) Not necessarily. Alot of it will depend on the friction material (clutch disc) you have and pressure plate release. |
