NOW....if they would only do the big block with all of the modern technology........sweet.......that would be what a lot of guys here are looking for.........but the L88 and L89 engines were something else.......!!! and with the stock side pipes and two dual feed Holley's like I had on my 67(stock) ....you would not believe how good it sounded......they came with stock cast iron headers........only problem ....every time I drove from Tennessee to Miami, I couldnt hear for two days....!! big problem when you are in training camp and can not hear the plays being called....lol BTW...the window of that 1967 427 with everything you could get on it was $6,900.00
you could not get Air Conditioning.....not offered because of overheating

Wouldn't that be the LS3 (currently used in the Corvette and Camaro SS, 376 cu. in.), at least as far as performance goes. I guess the LS7 (427 cu. in.) comes closest to being a modern day version of the old BB.
