I'm sure the Nissan engine design engineers are far more knowledgeable with the maintenance requirements of this engine than any forum members. As for the factory fill, the OM states to leave it in until the first oil change is due. I did. My car is working perfect. Btw, I change my oil, M1, at 7500 mile intervals.
