Interesting that I am reading this. Yesterday, I had the exact same issue identified on a brand new 2014 Track. Clutch all the way to the floor with no pressure. Finally came back but the 1-2 upshift seems way off now and the clutch has significantly more play in it. Had it for one month and no clutch drops, etc. Just some "spirited" driving. Going to contact my dealer about the bulletin. Great thread forum!

Dude I had 1,200 miles on mine when it went out. I highly recommend bringing them a high quality synthetic fluid to replace the crap that came in your car. It's not a fix but it'll definitely perform better. I'm at 43.5k now on the replacement CSC with no issues.

It amazes me that a "known" issue over the entire run of a car hasn't been addressed by the manufacturer. Definitely going to take synthetic with me to the dealer. I know they can do better than this!

Mine only got really light.. never got stucked to the floor. Checked the clutch fluid and it was really dark. Replaced it and haven't had issues for the moment. Order a braided steel line and RBF600 brake fluid just to be careful...

I know this isn't a "Panacea" for clutch failure but I keep my fluid clean. The moment I notice it getting dirty, out it goes (from reservoir) and in goes new. Pump a few times, check it again, and if still dirty more out then more in. Don't have to change fluid often, maybe once a month (DD) but I feel better keeping the clutch dust out of the system as much as possible. Of course, where it gets in (around the O-Ring on the CSC sleeve) is impossible to prevent.

A funny thing I've noticed is that the black stuff "floats" to the top of the reservoir when I put clean fluid in. It looks like smoke rising from the outlet of the reservoir when the clean fluid is transparent, it's really easy to see.

Just as an FYI, Z1 appears to now offer both a heavy duty replacement CSC as well as a kit that eliminates the CSC entirely

I'm going on like two 2 years on Motul 600 without issues. I think some of you are jumping on this "slave failure" bandwagon without trying some things.

The first time I did Autocross I had like 20k on the car and after one lap the pedal stuck to the floor and I had to pop it up with my toes and continue. I went the entire day like that, no ***** given. When I got home I flushed the clutch lines and replaced the stock **** with Motul 600 and I've tracked my Z several times and Autocross'd it a ton and I have NEVER had an issue since then. I have 54k on the car now and runs like new. Stock everything in the drivetrain besides fluids.

We (ZSpeed Performance) do not make that particular CSC delete kit, That is from Z1 Motorsports.

However, We do have an "Adjustable Throw CSC Delete Kit" in the works which will allow the end user to adjust and fine tune the engagement smoothness and release point for any type of clutch. Actually has been in development for going on 2 years now but have not released it yet, We want to test it further before releasing it and make a few minor changes before it is finalized.

Fixed. So sorry about that, Joe. I caught several posts of mine recently getting you guys mixed up. Obviously I didn't catch all of em. My apologies

I look forward seeing the results of your kit as well

Mine failed 2 days ago. Took it to the dealers, was covered under warranty. They replaced the master and slave cylinders, flushed my system and use whatever the GTR uses. Everything works great so far.
