ALRIGHTY GENTS!
I've got the stage 3 clutch installed! I've already got nearly 100 miles on it since last evening and I gotta say it's very strong and grabs awesomely I'm still seeing how everything works out with it my next update will be after the 500 mile mark. Then again at 1000 miles. I pray the clutch doesn't give out on me haha when I first got the car it was making a little rumble noise but to me it was was just the settling. Eventually the noise subdued now it's quieter and settling still. My only concern and issue is that I have to basically launch hard at a light constantly and I'm afraid of having issues with the law later. Anyway that's my experience thus far with the XTD Stage 3 Clutch Kit & Xlite Flywheel oh and yes the flywheel come at about 8-10 lbs lighter than OEM.

Any web devs out there? It shouldn't take long to create a web-based submission form with e-mail and captcha, and maybe use an SQLite database. I can get a simple UI started. That way we can move away from the shared access to the file on my Google Drive. Of course, we'll need to encrypt the e-mail addresses to prevent scouring from data miners, hackers, and spammers.

I'm joining this elite group at 58,000 miles. Luckier than some not as lucky as others. Now have to decide whether to upgrade the clutch/flywheel or not.....

At 58k I would just do everything and save a couple bucks in the long run
Get a lighter flywheel as it does make a difference in acceleration

Looking at this with new OEM Master and the HD CSC. I think this will handle my future FI hp. Looking for FI in the 480 hp range. The car is still about 70% daily driver. It just doesn't see much rain anymore as I drive my truck on those days. ZSpeed Performance Nissan Infinti OEM & Performance Parts

Ok so I'm at the 550 mile break in point with the clutch. It shifts smoother than before and suddenly my Z began doing a lot of blow back/gargling noise... It pushes hard/strong and it definitely picks up speed and has better acceleration.

However, I'm concerned with the sudden excess or increase in blow black. Also, I basically have to burn out every time I launch because it grabs instantly. She "barks" when I shift up and the traction control comes on more often also. Any thoughts/opinions welcome!

Fairlady
We both have the same year/model but I haven't had to do the flywheel/clutch thing yet. Could it be that with your lighter flywheel and new clutch the tight window to get a clean shift got narrower? The engine will be accelerating and slowing quicker because of the light flywheel and the new clutch is grabbier so if those to events meet between shifts it's going to buck more than normal? Sometimes I see the traction light for a second or get a buck because of the split second out of gas before the clutch is down with my original 30k clutch.
By the way, I like the idea of getting a lighter flywheel when I eventually need to swap out the original (I had the dealer fluid swap out when the clutch failed and it actually has been over a year and its still good).

The slave cylinder went out on my 2016 Nismo with just 1100 miles. Fortunately, the dealership did a good job in handling the situation and it was obviously covered under warranty, but still pretty crappy ro have this happen so soon...

Get the rjm clutch peddle. Heard nothing but good about it. Gives you a bigger engagement window as well as an adjustment to your liking.
