I still feel like any second now im gonna feel the clutch hit the floor again. I guess what makes me nervous is that the clutch pressure is still inconsistent. The engagement point stays the same, but the force required to push it is slightly different sometimes. Reading around the forum some people say its normal for the Z, can anyone comment on that?
I would feel the same way as you!

I have been a victim of my clutch pedal losing all pressure and going down to the floor. This has happened to me twice now. The first time one dealer replaced my clutch fluid and with "Gtr fluid" and did some "clutch adjustments". That was supposed to fix the problem.
Three weeks later my clutch pedal is back on the floor. I have it at another dealer since my car broke down out of state. They fixed the problem the same way as the first dealer by bleeding the clutch fluid. I told them that was how my car was fixed the first time and I am scared it will happen again. They said they will look further at it and see if the they can find why this is happening. Can somebody give me some information on what they should look at specifically? If they can't find the issue, I think I will sell my Z.
I really do not want to but I need to be able to drive my car with confidence.

This issue is the $hitty OEM CSC. No question. The stupid GT-R fluid solution the dealers are using is just a band-aid for a broken leg

I drive my Z all over Texas and often times to locations with little to no cell service and zero traffic on the roads. So I replaced my CSC with one of the aftermarket solutions before it failed and stranded me out in the middle of nowhere

How long have you had the aftermarket one installed?

Thank you. It is a shame Nissan and their dealers are aware of this issue but act like it does not exist. There is no way they have not heard of this issue. How is it I can come to this group and get information on it, yet they suggest these band-aid solutions. I will file a complaint with the NHTSA that was provided on the first page of this thread.

A little over a year - not quite 20K miles.

How did you get them to replace these parts each time? Did you pay?

Unfortunately I had to. the Z is my daily driver, so I couldnt afford to fight with nissan north america or whoever to try and get it covered under warranty. So yes I paid every time but the third time. The first time I bought a slave cylinder, the second time a master. Third time they replaced the clutch line for free, and this last time clutchplate pressure plate and flywheel. But at the very least I now have the nissan parts warranty, so if any of it fails again they replace it for free.

I drove my Z last night roughly a 100 miles, and trust me, it was definitely on my mind every time I pushed the clutch in... and im only at 7900 miles!!
