Hopefully that is a true statement, I bought mine brand new in May '14. Car has around 7000 miles, no launching or drag racing, just some autocross. Just checked the fluid reservoir it's still at max. Does anyone know for sure if this issue impacts 2013+?

Happened to my then month old '15 with 2000 miles

Still waiting for the guy on reddit chime in. He had a 2016 that went out just a few days after the car left the dealer's lot, <500 miles. Although, I'm think the dealer will take care of him. Don't see any reason why they wouldn't. But you never know for sure, it's Nissan we're talking about after all.

I guess that works out if you decide to sell it in a year... Mine was replaced with an OEM through warranty and I'm expecting it to fail again in another 20k-30k miles or about 2 years.

It's replacing a poorly designed part with the exact same part

:iagree:

You're absolutely right. Some of you guys have less miles than me and the dealer won't budge. I've always had good luck with this dealer and would get all of my warranty work done there. I never used them for oil changes or other maintenance work though so I'm definitely not a "VIP" customer. I guess it's hit or miss with dealers.

Not sure if you have said already, but what dealer do you go to in SoCal?

Yup. Wasn't to happy about it considering I had just bought a $40k car.

Thankfully the dealer gave me no flak about it. Told me they couldn't duplicate the issue but there was a TSB on it so they replaced it with no other discussion about it.

I also has the 6th gear syncro issue and they replaced my tranny for free too.

In fairness I think you generally get better service from a 'luxury' dealer.

Yup, I'd agree with that.

I ordered my fluids earlier today, and I'll be meeting up with AAM most likely tomorrow.

I plan to buy 370z mt but reading this disc failure. Would be safe to say if I do purchase 370z to go ahead and replace the csc with zspeed along with the aftermarket clutch since they have to take transmission out anyways? Also plan to do the arp clutch pedal. I should be all good? Anybody know the price range install and good shop around Dallas area?
