7/1/2015 Case # xxxxx389 VIN # xxxxxxxxxxxxxx337 Dear Mr. Joseph xxxxxx, Thank you for contacting Nissan North America and allowing us to be of assistance. Please be advised that Nissan North America will periodically issue a campaign to repair vehicles that are operating outside of specifications. These campaigns are usually due to the performance of a specific part of a vehicle. A vehicle can exhibit the same symptoms as a campaign, but not have the affected part and therefore that campaign would not apply. Parts content of vehicles can vary by Model, Model Year, Trim Level, Option Packages, and other factors. Nissan North America/Infiniti Division uses multiple suppliers for parts on a vehicle so if the campaign was specific to one supplier, it would not affect similar vehicles that received that part from a different supplier. In some cases, only certain parts from a supplier are affected by a campaign and so only a specific number of vehicles are affected. VIN numbers are not sequential so two vehicles with VIN numbers that are very close together may not be affected by the same campaign. All of these factors will affect whether a specific vehicle, and the VIN associated with it, will be eligible for a campaign If you have additional questions about the campaign, please contact your local Nissan Dealer and schedule an appointment, as the Dealer is in the best position to diagnose and repair your vehicle. Your Nissan Dealer will be more than willing to assist. Also, so that we may update our vehicle ownership information in order to provide you with the best service, please reply to this email and attach the following documentation: 1). Proof of Ownership document which can include one of the following: •Insurance Card with Name, Address, and VIN •Copy of Title •Certificate of Title •Bill of Sale •Vehicle Registration •Verification from company-owned vehicle that the person registering is the Authorized Driver of that vehicle. Plus 2). Proof of Residency (mailing address) Once we have received the information requested, we will update the vehicle ownership information in our system. Case #xxxxx389 has been created to document your inquiry. If you have any further questions or comments, feel free to call 1-800-647-7261 (Extension 457356) and reference your case number. Sincerely, Nissan ___________________ Cherielyn Consumer Affairs Representative Nissan North America, Inc. ref:_00xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxc |

Now its time for "Old School Union Organizing" , just a pun, no dues required! I'm simply calling upon us as individuals to join together to fight that get this CSC issue resolved. (I apologize beforehand to my Non Union Brethren) . I'm just resorting to proved previous tactics in such circumstances.
:happydance: |
We should keep flooding their FB with complaints.

My reply to Nissan:
NISSAN OFFICIAL Cherielyn, Thank you for replying. I will get the requested information to you ASAP. I am concerned as why you need my insurance information. Could you please explain why? Are you aware of a site called - The370z.com -? The reason I mention this is because there are many 370Z owners experiencing Clutch Slave Cylinder Failure. You may want to view www.the370z.com , and then go to thread (Official) 370Z Clutch Pressure (CSC) Failures ... There is a extensive list of 370Z owners with same problem. On a personal note, I find it odd of you not to post your entire name. I have no problem giving my full name, why is it that you are so evasive? It does give the feeling of a unconcerned, bogus, community relations office on Nissan part. Sincerely, Joseph S :excited: |
Have a beer or two, then raise some hell with NISSAN at 1-800-647-7261....
NISSAN SUCKS AS A CORPORATION PUT FAILURE PRONE COMPONENTS IN 370Z's! YOU COULD BE DISABLED AT ANYTIME WITHOUT WARNING! |
We need more complaints with NHTSA! I strongly feel this is the best way of getting Nissan take ownership of the problem...they're just playing games right now like they always do...issue some generic response and pretending to care, meanwhile they make you jump through hoops and providing your personal information, they do this in hoping to discourage you to give up. Most people usually do...and it's the main reason why Nissan had gotten away with dodging this issue all these years the 370z been in existence. When enough people complained, the NHTSA will have to come down with an investigation and force a recall. Hopefully with a hefty penalty ensue.

You have to get a 3rd party involved, wether it be the NHTSA or someone else. Nissan or whomever deals with customer complaints is just that, this is what nissan prefers, the general public has no idea that theres a big problem, Nissan doesnt want the general public to know that their manual transmissions have issues and would rather keep it in a personal relationship.. |
