People are posting on random links that relate to the 370z and on their wall.

I know it doesn't sound like much but it's something. I got a call from a consumer affairs representative today (finally). Taking the car in to get checked out tomorrow. I think this might end well. I recommend you guys do the same! Post on Nissan USA and just Nissan (apparently Bahrain). I'll report back what they say.

Comment on it with my photos of fluid and work order stating the condition and color is fine.....

Well.... add me to the list of CSC problems. Experienced the first symptom during a long drive. Brought the car into the Nissan dealership and they quoted me $1900.00 to replace. Ouch!

VIN: 504630
Purchase Date: 12/27/2010
Occurrence Date: 5/25/2015

If you're on Nissan's FB page, you should be threatening to trade in your vehicle for another car manufacturer and telling everyone you know to stay away from Nissan in general. Im pretty sure this would have them thinking twice.

Is this your first occurrence of this issue?

I don't see the CSC listed. Looks like they are trying to sell you on a new clutch. Clutch failure/wear is a completely different issue than the CSC failure. Different symptoms too.

FYI...you can have the entire clutch with a new HD CSC installed for less than $1900

That's true! I wonder if they're lumping the whole assembly into one? I'm dropping it off today to have the fluid changed to GTR fluid, I'll ask them for specifics on what they want to do.

If it is a total replacement, then I'll probably go aftermarket in preparation for the TT :)

Yes it is. Didn't strand me fortunately. We were returning from Laughlin to LA, driving for a couple hours. Went to shift down and the clutch felt pretty soft, returned only half way up, manually kicked it back up the rest of the way. But never did it again. ?????

I did post, but didn't threaten not to buy another car. Hopefully with everyone posting on there, they'll eventually address the issue.

I wouldnt trust the dealer if I were you.. the GTR fluid flush is a band aid to a bigger problem. Keep us posted.

Just make sure your work order specifies "special brake fluid"! :roflpuke2:

as someone who has had his CSC fail twice on him, go aftermarket, save yourself the hassle, its a PITA to have your car down twice for the same issue that should have been resolved by now

Completely agree with you. With a known fix out there..... why doesn't Nissan come clean and recall all MT's?
