I'll put it to you this way, ALOT. If you can wrench, I'd suggest doing it yourself but know it will take you some time to do it without a lift. I believe the install time is something like 7ish hours not including the Master Cylinder install.

I myself did it for numerous reasons 1) I don't wrench. It's not that I can't, it's that I get too frustrated far too easily(like tossing stuff mad) and I find paying someone else to do it is alot better for my health, lol. 2) The convenience of having it done while I was on vacation just made alot of sense considering my round trip mileage on top of the vehicles actual ODO mileage.

I actually did a write up of the overall experience over in General Discussions.

An adventure to be sure...
It's definitely something I would LIKE to do, but I don't have the time, tools nor help needed to pull this off. I haven't really done any sort of transmission work either so I would prefer to not learn on a newish vehicle. Thanks for the info. Nice to know the clutch engagement point changes

Wow. I've not caught up with these events. I'm still hosting the spreadsheet using Google Docs. If someone wants to take over hosting it, please let me know since I'm not as active on the forum nowadays.

Dunno if there's any interest in me posting this, but I finally had my CSC replaced today. I posted about it a couple of months ago but the dealer couldnt reproduce the issue at the time. It finally got bad enough where it was a constant issue. They didnt make any beef about replacing it. Took 1 day and car is good as new again.

I had the ZSpeed stage 2 quiet clutch kit installed today, along with the CMAK CSC replacement kit, a lightweight flywheel, and a new master cylinder. It's a completely different car now, in a good way.

Starting Jan 2017 I will no longer host and maintain the spreadsheet. If no one wants to volunteer to take over the spreadsheet I'm going to take it down and remove the link on the front page.

Can you just leave what's there? if anyone wants to be added they could contact the law firm that's creating a class action lawsuit and be added to that list.

Just an idea

Sure. Provide the lawfirm the most recent copy of the spreadsheet so they can maintain it. I'm just trying to get it out of my hair since I don't own a Z anymore, and I'm not as active on the forums anymore. I just keep getting notifications.

Well, my 2013 with 21,000 miles just had an issue. It went to half peddle pressure Friday morning. It came back to the top with a couple of pumps but this is the tail tail sign it will be done shortly. Order a lightened flywheel and clutch kit to replace everything soon before I get stranded on the side of the road.

My master fail at 56k, fixed under warranty. Now at 105k, slave fail and it's $1.7k of my own money. I was joking with my adjuster to put this on the regular maintenance checklist every 50k miles.

All, I've updated OP with link to new host for the spreadsheet. Devil34 is taking over spreadsheet duties. Feel free to PM him if you would like to help him edit the spreadsheet.

First post. Signed up for the forum because of this issue. Bought my Z with 38k miles and the CSC blew at 40k miles. Got it replaced with the hd slave from zspeed. The pedal pressure is much lighter than I remember. But the clutch is still just as grabby as ever.

Mechanic said my clutch still looks brand freakin new, so fingers crossed I get to enjoy some reliability. Anyway, add me to that list of yours if you wish.

Damn guys, my clutch was losing pressure a few days ago so I scheduled an appointment for today to get it checked out because of possible CSC issue.

Started my car today and couldn't get into 1st gear..took couple of tries and it got into gear. On the way to the appointment on the highway, my pedal sunk to the floor while trying to shift into 5th gear. It wouldn't let me shift out of 4th at all and I had to slow down on the side and rolled until I stalled....

Had to tow to dealership and is getting checked out. Receiving a call tomorrow...

2016 Base Coupe 21,000KM got the car brand new.
