Does anyone know if there is a difference between a Base ECU and a Sport ECU. Not just mapping but inputs and outputs and programming? Reason: What does it takes

Age: 78 Posts: 31 Drives: 370Z Mag Black 6sp m Rep Power: 16	ECU Base/Sport Does anyone know if there is a difference between a Base ECU and a Sport ECU. Not just mapping but inputs and outputs and programming? Reason: What does it takes to get rev match on a base. New ECU or what. If the ECU's are the same then the ECU should already be programmed for rev match just need the switch to tell the ECU rev match is on. I know I am dreaming it could not be just that simple. What was I thinking?
