Definitely put some hard miles on it. IIRC, I heard of CSCs failing on daily driven cars with or without aftermarket clutches.
How about clutch shudder? I didn't have this issue with my '03 350Z (with '06 transmission).

I';ve driven all sorts of clutches on other customer cars Exedy, ACT, Clutch masters, OS Gikken, etc etc. and all those clutches feel like an On/Off switch. very harsh and stiff pedal. this clutch engages unbelievably nice and comfortable. |

Knock on wood, I may have suffered what appears to be a failed CSC. I barely started driving out of the parking lot at work late this afternoon when the clutch sunk to the floor shifting to 3rd. The more I pressed on it, the further it sunk to the floor with no rebound. Luckily, I barely had enough pressure to crawl back to the parking lot in 1st before it completely lost pressure and killed the car. Everything's completely stock with a little over 16k miles.
I'm scratching my head wondering why something like this would happen even though I never hard launched this car or dumped the clutch. Anyhow, if that's the case I may be tempted to see if my dealer would be willing to install an "upgraded" CSC as well as a clutch/flywheel package.

clocked in 4K yesterday, before my car started acting up. time to tear her down and see whats wrong. its running supper rich, shooting fireballs out the back and major power loss I'm getting codes P2A00 and P2A03 but something tells me its not going to be as easy as replacing the O2 Sensors. so far clutch feels as awesome as it did on day one.
DiGitonium Talk to your dealer it would be awesome if they can install it for you since they are already there. and it is a basic bolt on affair. what I would honestly do is not talk to the service advisor about it, but talk to the tech himself be cool with him and maybe talk him into it and kick him a few bucks. that always works better since the tech get paid commission the service advisor might want to charge you a clutch job to get it done. while the tech might just say screw it and do it for you for an extra $20 - $50 |

C'mon, you guys have no faith. I had this problem back in 04 with my VQ35DE's clutch, so Nissan has a few years of experience messing this up! GL with this problem DIGI and thanks for the update Bardabe.
