are the transmissions the same?

I have a g37 6mt and test drove a 370z 6mt. I like the gearbox better in the Z. It felt more precise, the shift knob was bigger and felt better in my hand. Both clutches engage rather abrupt.

If you meant hardware wise, I have no clue. I would imagine they would be for production cost reasons.
