I have had absolutely no oil consumption on Nissan's Ester Oil.

i put on one of those filter magnet at 1000 miles. not the black commercial one, the red industrial one. i will be changing the oil this weekend since im at 1500 or so, plus cut up the filter canister and see if the magnet grabbed anything. this change will be redline oil!

I am going to swap out to Redline too. I believe Redline is also an ester oil and it has more moly than Nissan ester, also very stable with very little shear. Since Nissan wants ester in this engine, Redline seems like a natural alternative as it is similar but superior.
