I"m having the same issues as stated above. My pedal has stuck on me, and I am getting a burnt smell in my car. My car has sit more than I have driven it since I am in the Military, and I deploy. My car has 12,000 miles on it. I took it to the dealership yesterday, to only have them test drive the car and tell me I need a new clutch and flywheel that will run me close to $2500!!! I questioned this, and mentioned failures of CSC's to them, and they respond back with "for $600 we can drop your transmission" I understand people have to get paid for work, but I feel this should be free!! I don't think my clutch is bad I feel it is something else, I just dont want to be wrong, and then be stuck with a $3200 clutch replacement!!!! FML :shakes head:

Hi Chrono, sorry to hear you're having problems, hope it works out for you.
Thank you for serving our country. You guys don't get enough credit. |
All you guys having issues, make sure you file a complaint with nhtsa. It would be nice if we could make nissan recall this issue.
|
a recall on this issue will never happen.
|
I used to think that the steering lock would never get recalled either

steering lock isnt a part that wears out like brake rotors or clutches. there will always be a gray area for these parts.
i had mine replaced under warranty. thats only because my clutch didnt look abused when they opened it up. |

I am preparing to purchase the Z1 CSC delete. It is fairly new to the market (this year). The ZSpeed HD CSC was really the only option before, which is why it seems to be the go to solution when you search the forum. A forum member has had the delete kit on his track car for months (pretty sure he was a test car for Z1). He has nothing bad to say about the kit. I'm sure Z1 did their R&D
