I too experienced several problems with my 370's clutch. At 15K the clutch pedal stuck half-way from the floor, I had to pull it up with my foot. Took it straight to the dealer & when I restarted the Z to show them the problem...Clutch worked fine. At 24K..same problem, drove home parked the car. Next morning, Clutch pedal to the floor and stayed there. The dealer towed the car & confirmed he "Thinks" the problem was the master cylinder. 7 day's later (two days ago) I picked up the Z everything working fine and covered by warranty. Ten minutes ago the pedal stuck again half way to the floor and is engaging very close to the floor. So I'm finishing up my work, driving the Z home (If I make it) and calling for a tow truck. Luckily, I haven't had any fried clutch smell in the cab. When I questioned the dealer concerning the clutch issue, he claimed he'd never heard of any problems with the clutch in the 370z. Funny I haven't had many problems finding others with the same problem....

Huh... Now that you guys mention it, when my Z had about 3K miles on her, I was messing around and dropped the clutch @ about 3.5-4K rpms to show-off to my buddy (who was in the car, too) and peel-out. Well, all I got was a clutch stuck half-way to the floor ,no gears engaging, and a red-lined engine. I nearly sh@t my pants!
I pumped the clutch severaland it came back out. I took it to the dealership the next morning and they couldn't find any issues. Go figure...

I'm not sure if this is the same problem I'm experiencing...I just started noticing that I'm not getting into the first gear too well the past few days...I thought maybe it was my driving skills...but I've been driving a stick for years and never had any problem...then as I was driving today, I was in the 6th gear, and clutched to downshift to the 5th gear, my clutch pedal seemed to go about half way without and response until I fully clutched it....I tried to duplicate the problem, and only got it once....but then it happened again several times again in the afternoon....the feeling that I was getting when I experienced this was similar to when after you had just changed out your brakes, and you need to pump it a few times to bleed it...it felt like the clutch didn't disengage until after half way down...was this the same problem you guys experienced???

I am officially part of this statistic. I barely left the parking lot, got in 3rd, and the clutch sank to the floor. CSC failed without warning. Thankfully this occurred when I barely got out of work parking lot and head towards the freeway. I manage to kill the car a few times crawling back to the parking lot to call a tow service. The morning commute to work was completely normal, and I haven't had any clutch issues until today.
Mileage: A little over 16k. Habits: Daily driven to work and home. Never raced, dumped the clutch, burn out, etc. Spirited at times, but only on a roll. Environment: Cool weather and barely got the car warmed up.

That issue happened to me on my 350Z but they covered it. It happened to me at 7000 miles on my 350Z.
I remember the mechanics from the Nissan dealer telling me how this only happened to me and that he never saw that before because Nissan uses a "truck" clutch for the 350Z. It is so solid that it should never brake he said. I was laughing my *** off, he did not like that too much but I was not going to debate with him how fragile stock clutch can be especially if they are defective which was most likely my case. They changed it and I drove hard for 46,000 miles. The replacement clutch never failed me again. This means there was a defect with the first one... So far my 370Z clutch is fine.

man this is really worrisome and really f*****g stupid too. People who are just daily driving and not driving hard either, and these parts are failing. DIGI you said this happened to you right around 16k. Im at 12k, more and more problems seem to be arising with this car which is really starting the bug the crap outta me

My pedal got oddly light one day. I had to pump it back up but it seems to be okay since.
I've also been getting the rear drivers side axle clicking when I move forward at first. This has been a Nissan issue since 2003 and maybe before. My g coupe would click and they would tighten the axle bolts.
