I've been hearing this vacuumish noise when going past 3.5k/4k RPM. It becomes a bit more audible as I get higher in revs past that point. Like something spooling up.

Vacuumish noise past 3.5k rpm
I've been hearing this vacuumish noise when going past 3.5k/4k RPM. It becomes a bit more audible as I get higher in revs past that point. Like something spooling up. It's very obvious when the windows are closed. I didn't notice it before when I got the car.
I'm pretty sure it's coming from the engine bay, and it sounds close up to the dash area. It only seems to happen when I'm driving--revving the engine in neutral doesn't appear to replicate it. Am I just nuts? |
