Default Stiff transmission

Hey everyone, just got a really good deal on a leftover 09 370Z manual with the sport package a few weeks back. Got the car with about 70 miles on it so for all intents and purposes it's brand new. Anyway, I currently have about 700 miles on it and am wondering if I might have a problem. I am encountering a lot of resistance on shifting, more often than not going from 5 to 6 or 6 to 5, where I basically have to put it in neutral and try again because I really don't want to push/pull too hard on the stick. It's not happening on every shift but does happen occasionally. I've been driving manual for a few years now and the only similar experience I have is on an 04 S2000 that wouldn't make the 1-2 shift in really cold weather before the transmission warmed up. Should I be concerned? Will this go away once the car breaks in? Anyone else have any similar experience? Look forward to your responses.

I've never experienced this issue before, but I've seen threads about crunching noises from 5th to 6th. Maybe you just need to get used to having a 6th gear. But its a brand new car so if you are concerned I would take it to the dealer and see what they say. I do on the other hand find it harder to shift to 6th if I hold the shifter the way I do when going into 4th. Placing the palm of my hand on the left side of the ball and then going into 6th is much more effective from my experience.
