those with dropped cars...where do you get your oil change??
im about two seconds from pulling the trigger on some coilovers then it occurred to me
if the car is dropped lower than 1 inch can the nissan dealership still lift it up without damaging anything? for on oil change? i know theoretically i can raise it when ever i bring it in but i was hoping i wouldn't have to go thru the trouble anyone with experience in this dept??? |
As long as they have planks of wood. Any lowered car can be used at the lift.

You can just do the Oil change yourself? its pretty easy :tiphat: ' |
i found these..
what do you guys think??? Rack Ramps - Car Ramps | Low Incline Ramps for your Four Post Lift | RaceRamps.com your best solution for Lightweight Car Ramps! |
those are nice for tire lifts... the usual lifts wont work with that
|
Those will work.
|
Dealers are used to placing lowered cars on lifts so don't worry. Once you lower a car don't change the ride height unless you want to pay for another alignment.

my dealer has all rotory lifts... not that id take it there

well you could take it anywhere with a pit for oil changes the dealer my wallet used to get raped at had one and hell you could have changed a racecars oil over it. of course that was before i realized that the magic oil they sold me wasn't worth sh*t compared to aftermarket synthetics and i sure as hell wasn't going to pay 12.50 a quart 14 for the filter and 60 for labor for a 5 minute oil change. yup that took one time.
