I think this is missing the point tho. Yes the 7AT will technically shift "faster"...
But it has a torque converter, so you do get more drivetrain loss than a 6MT. It may seem to shift faster but not sure it's getting the same power from the shift. 6MT usually always makes more power than AT on dyno due to AT drivetrain loss. And when driving fast, you can shift pretty damn quickly in the MT...not to mention, you can do other things like dump the clutch and take off like mad... You can also shift into any gear anytime with MT, in the auto you have to go thru all the gears if downshifting from 5th-2nd for example I digress... Sent from my SM-G860P using Tapatalk |
