At Homestead Miami Speedway 10 days ago the fastest guy in my group was in a new Porsche GT3 , you can't get them in manual. The manual transmission is

At Homestead Miami Speedway 10 days ago the fastest guy in my group was in a new Porsche GT3 , you can't get them in manual. The manual transmission is going to just be part of history soon. 10 years ago I would have never considered buying a sports car with a auto but now I may never buy another one that isn't auto.

Looks like I'll be buying used cars. I don't want my car shifting for me any more than I want it steering for me. Pretty soon that will be reality as well.

with all the "automatic" assisted electronics running on that GT3 you would have to be an extremely bad driver or slightly retarded to not be the fastest. He was probably reading the newspaper and sipping his latte at the same time as well. Point and step on the gas.

My neighbor has a nice bright orange GT3 but we haven't been on the same track together yet, hopefully this summer.
