ugh it's so sad seeing the lack of intelligence in this new wave of owners :shakes head:

I prefer the manual for it's quicker 60/quarter times and bullet proof CSC for spirited gear slamming.

I wouldn't even considering an auto when I started looking. I'm elated I did some reading here before I bought.

Ops, yes CSC. Been a long day.

The problem csc left a sour taste in my mouth because the car I was selling to buy the Z was forcing me to put in the third slave cylinder. With the frustration I had with the Camaro I couldn't force myself to buy something that was going to put me in the exact same situation.

yea i have heard the woes of CSC pain many times from friends.

i test drove 4 M6 Z's and not one was good.

test drove 1 7AT and bought the first one i found with my option choices.

Im just going to put the Ztune (whatever its called) CSC in at some point when I upgrade the clutch...

I bet a properly driven 6MT outlasts the 7AT easily, and its easy to work on manual tranny.

That's just my .02

I never read about the CSC before I bought, and looking back it doean't matter. I'd still take the 6mt for the fun factor, so what I'll have to replace CSC. As long as the engine is good...

let's put it this way, if you own a 6MT then you will need to replace the CSC. it goes on pretty much every single one. regardless of you beating the piss out of it or DD barely cracking 5k rpm lol it's a flaw in the design of the manual Z.
